The Issue

As a child, nothing excited me more than when my parents said those magic words: "We're going to McDonald's." Back then, one of the key highlights of those special trips was undoubtedly indulging in their original Chicken Selects. A true classic and delight, these perfectly crispy, tender pieces of chicken were more than just a meal; they were an experience that I looked forward to every time my parents gave the green light t instead of  "we have food at home."

Years have passed, and now that I have my own McDonald's money to spend, I find myself longing for that very same experience. However, the reality is disappointing. In place of the beloved Chicken Selects, McDonald's has introduced chicken strips that are of a significantly lower quality. What we loved was not just any chicken; it was the taste and texture of those original selects that captured our hearts.

The promise to bring back the Chicken Selects seemed hopeful once, but it only led to the appearance of something that falls short of the original. McDonald's, a brand known for listening to its customers and valuing their feedback, has an opportunity here to restore a cherished part of many of our childhoods.

Bringing back the original Chicken Selects would not only honour the nostalgic memories of so many customers but also demonstrate a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. The ingredients that went into making the original were distinctive, and it's clear that the current options do not meet the same standards.

We call on McDonald's to listen to its loyal patrons. Bring back the original Chicken Selects that so many of us fondly remember and crave. Let us once again have those experiences that remind us of simpler and happier times.

Please sign this petition to urge McDonald's to bring back the original Chicken Selects. Let's bring back a little piece of joy to our meals.
