Kmart Australia has recently axed their independent living range. These items include walking frames, shower chairs, blood pressure monitors and other items which improve independence for disabled and elderly people. This range was among the most affordable way to access these products. Australia and New Zealand both have restricted government funding for disability aids and many people who need these products are not able to access funding for them. Kmart was filling this need until they decided these products were not profitable. 

We ask Kmart to support the disabled community by bringing back this range of products, even if it is not profitable to do so. As a large commercial entity Kmart has responsibility to the community it serves to show that it is an inclusive and forward thinking brand.
