Kaos on Netflix was made in 2024 and only ran for a month before Netflix cancelled the show. Like with many series, it takes time to gain traction and viewers. Kaos was not given this chance and has left the growing population of watchers on a cliffhanger. My father and I binge watched Kaos in two days. When we saw the last episode we immediately looked up when season 2 would come out. That’s when we learned this devastating news. As I did more research, I learned that I wasn’t the only fan upset. There are accounts on Instagram, X, TikTok, and YouTube advocating for the renewal of the show and their disappointment in its cancellation. Those accounts have many followers and want to see the right thing done. The show ended just when it hit the climax: Zeus’ fall, Riddy’s return to Earth, and Caeneus learning he can renew the dead. Leaving the end like this is simply cruel to the viewers and the actors. The actor of Dionysus, Nabhaan Rizwan, has even said “Well… this one hurts. Charlie Covell’s scripts resonated with me in a way most things hadn’t” (Hibbs and Moss, RadioTimes). Actors pour their souls into their work, so they are affected by this as well. I believe if Kaos gets uncancelled, it will bring a high profit for any streaming service. I urge another streaming service to pick up the series, as they won’t be disappointed. The only way to prove me wrong is to try.
