Bring back the older 90's and early 2000's cartoons on Cartoon Network

The Issue

Hello all and welcome to this petitions page, first of all let me thank you all for taking the time out of your days to read this.
With that being said, I'd like to introduce the idea of resurrecting an old Cartoon Network to its former glory.
Now I know what some of you are thinking - "What about the new shows that have been introduced to the present kids, what about us?".
I fully understand your concern with the matter, but I have an idea that could be beneficial to all the population that enjoy watching Cartoon Network.
I petition that Cartoon Network either:

A) Make for a period of the day, in which these programs will be aired, on a daily basis.
B) Make a second Cartoon Network Channel for such programs.
C) Friday, Saturday, and Sunday's would be classic cartoon days.

From a personal view point, I feel that the second one I would like more, but the first option would be easier to implement in; and the last option would also be on the easier side to do, in my opinion that is. It is one of these things that I would like to see done to Cartoon Network, and not only myself personally would like to see it done, but also others as well. I plan to illustrate points that can help shine some light on the former glory of Cartoon Network; as well as quoting individuals, portraying the idea of an older Cartoon Network in the present day.

Now I will dive into the attempt to sway the hearts of those at Cartoon Network, as I'm sure if they had children of their own, they would fully understand where I'm coming from, just ask them.

∙ Cartoon Network was golden for our time and will remain in our hearts. I'm pretty sure everyone who's our age today misses the old Cartoon Network shows such as Codename Kids Next Door, Courage the Cowardly Dog and so on.

∙ Yes, you can say we have boomerang, but that's different because they replay OLD classics that none of us watched during our time. The channel plays Dexter's Laboratory and so on, a few times. But that's not Cartoon Network. A separate channel for CN's Classics would not only bring back the nostalgia, but people would watch that daily.

∙ With the old channel being done, we'd be able to expect the old Holiday Specials such as the very loved, Cartoon Network's Holiday Rush. That can be found on YouTube here, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_CXaUeQ4r4 . Look at the comments, read and pay attention. Everyone who's commented misses that.

∙ I don't see why they don't actually change Boomerang instead they already broadcast old shows, why not make it just all the previous Cartoon Network shows. If they were to announce that publicly, Boomerang could possibly gain maybe even DOUBLE the viewers.

∙ Shows now a-days on Cartoon Network are alright, there are some that are watchable, enjoyable, and I personally like as well. Then you have the shows that just seem to be added with pure filler in mind, they're mindless in a sense; as are all cartoons, but at least they're watchable. I feel the need when some shows come on to quickly turn of the television, no disrespect meant to Cartoon Network, or the creators of the shows.

∙ I don't see why Cartoon Network WOULDN'T want to do this, I find the idea to be appealing to all audiences, the present day kids, and the ones that were around back then. You have a chance to increase your views by so much, by just airing such cartoons, because the older generation would love to tune in to the cartoons they used to watch when they were a kid. It reminds them of the, "Good Ol' days" - in a sense.

∙ Just let me paste some of the comments on ONE of the many YouTube videos about these Cartoons:
-"I miss those days. When Cartoon Network had cool shows and not the trash we have today."
-"wish we still had those cartoons all of them now suck"
-"Man I remembered watching this commercial in 4th grade and I remembered that Christmas I got a gameboy man I hate when time changes"
-"Im crying... the song is great.. i heard it way back then and remembered it today. What makes it sadder is it will never exist again.."
-"Cn got me thru rough times in school back then"
-"This brings back good memories. These shows were much better than what we've got now."
-"I really miss this..."

Are you not listening to your audience? Do you not see that they'd love to have something like this back, the smiles you'd bring to their faces? Along with that, the one quote read: "Cn got me thru rough times in school back then". Read that quote, and tell me it's easy to shut everything off just because the present day kids are demanding something less. This is just a FEW comments out of the hundreds, upon thousands of comments just like them.

∙ There would be no harm in doing this, there would be more good then harm by doing this. It seems like a simple, and obvious reason, but it needs to be stated.

∙ Think about the effects of the current generation watching what we've watched when we were growing up. As we grew up, Cartoon Network taught so much. It taught us to have an imagination was alright, it taught us being scared is alright sometimes, and most of all, and importantly, it taught us all to laugh. It brought mother, and fathers and children together to watch TV, it brought brothers and sisters, and brothers and brothers together for one common thing, cartoons; simply, cartoons. You don't realize the effect of it, and I'm not saying that cartoons are - "Oh SOOOO important, it will cure EVERYTHING". No, not at all, I'm just somebody who thinks cartoons should be what they were before, something I could sit down and enjoy, and just laugh.

I'm not trying to make it that much longer, because unfortunately, I could go on much longer. I think I made my point clear in the vein of what the petition is about, and what I, in my mind think should be done. Now it's up to you guys to sign up and make it a reality, share it with everyone you possibly can, and maybe - just maybe with enough popular support, and some hope, we can, "Bring Back the Golden Days!", thank you.
