My name is Nasser Yawari, and I started this petition because, like many of you, the recent changes to the Pakenham line have made commuting longer, more stressful, and less reliable. Families, workers, and students in our community deserve direct and convenient access to the CBD without unnecessary transfers.

For many of us, these changes are not minor — they add up to 20 extra minutes to daily travel, if there is no delay. But more importantly, they send a clear message that our growing suburbs are not being prioritised when it comes to essential services like public transport.

We, the residents and commuters of Pakenham, call on the Victorian Government to restore City Loop services for our lines, especially during peak hours, so public transport works for the people who rely on it every day. Restoring these services will save time and make commuting practical for our growing suburbs.
