Recent changes to the train schedule have seen the removal of the 16:31 and 16:57 services from Morpeth to Alnmouth. This has caused disruption not only to our family routine but also to many other families and workers who depend on these trains for their daily commute. The absence of these services strips away a critical link between communities, impacting the livelihoods and education of countless individuals.

Many students and workers used these particular services daily. The removal not only increases travel difficulties but also imposes additional financial burdens on families, compelling them to find alternative and often more expensive forms of transportation.

We urge the rail operator- Cross Country Trains to immediately reinstate the 16:31 and 16:57 Morpeth–Alnmouth trains.
