Sun God Festival is a yearly tradition that has helped UCSD students push through the final straw of the school year. Chancellor Khosla has canceled the festival because of "security issues" due to a current PEACEFUL encampment for the better of Palestine. 

This festival is the heart and soul of the UCSD community. Stripping it away from the students is manipulative, and a ploy to get the student body to end the encampment. Taking the festival away gets rid of a part of our freedom as students with a voice. 

If they can get away with taking this away from us, who knows what they'll take from our political freedom.
