The starbucks double smoked bacon egg and cheese sandwich is such a popular food item in starbucks that every store will usually be sold out of it before noon. It is their most popular food option, no questions asked. However, starbucks just took the sandwich off the menu. This is an outrage.

Why take away the most profitable food item instead of ordering more stock? It does not make sense in a businessman’s point of view whatsoever: if there is so much of a demand, and you have control of the supply, wouldn’t your first decision be to increase the supply, and not to replace the food item with something that is much worse? 

Starbucks recently debuted a new, WORSE chicken sandwich which was quickly taken off the shelves due to health concerns. These public health concerns were not as common until the replacement chicken sandwich was put on the menu, replacing the safer (and better) egg and bacon cheddar sandwich.

THIS NEEDS TO CHANGE, NOW! We cannot get this perfect and delicious sandwich back unless starbucks hears our outrage. We as a human species should NOT have to deal with this artificially designed shortage during such a turbulent recession and multiple historic events. We don’t deserve to deal with so many things being taken away from us all at once like this, and we will not stand for it! Please consider signing this petition so the world’s most delicious egg sandwich can see the light of day once again. After all, you should NEVER snub a delicious sandwich.
