For the residents of Mount Airy, NC, Sonic Drive-In wasn't just another fast-food chain. It was a place where we could enjoy our favorite Ocean Water and feel a sense of community. Its closing has left a void that no other establishment can fill.

Our town hasn't been the same since Sonic went out of business. We miss carpooling to Sonic on a hot summer day. The absence of Sonic is not only affecting our  stomachs, it could also be great for employment in the town and bring a sense of community!

It's time for Mount Airy to bring back Sonic, new employment opportunities, and our beloved Ocean Water!
