As a child, I fondly remember sneaking down to our kitchen to savor my favorite treat, SnackWell's Devil's Food Cake Cookies;  they were everything to me, one of my biggest dreams was finally being able to buy a box of these beloved cookies on my own.  Now, as I'm expecting my first child, the craving has intensified.

 Right when I, and many others, needed them most, they changed. In 2019, SnackWell's altered their iconic recipe, leaving us fans with disappointment rather than nostalgia. then, they disappeared off of shelves entirely. 

SnackWell's Devil's Food Cake Cookies weren't just a cookie, they were a beloved tradition in many households. a childhood favorite to many adults. It was devastating to see such an integral part of our youth replaced with a shadow of its former self, and then taken away like it was nothing. in a world where the future is fast and unpredictable, please, let us have one good thing.

We urge SnackWell’s to listen to their devoted customers who would give anything to have the chance to cherish their favorite cookies once again. as a family, a first time mom with an extreme craving, or as a little kid, sneaking into her dads lunchbox. WE deserve to experience our favorite treat again. 

Our proposal is straightforward: bring  back the ORIGINAL recipe for SnackWell's Devil's Food Cake Cookies. One small corporate decision can satisfy countless fans, bring families back around the little green boxes that used to bring so much joy, and help keep at least one piece of history positive and full of light
