Slack has been a great tool for business communication internally and the ability to communicate with others outside of your organization.  I've been a Slacker for the past 3 years and have thoroughly enjoyed what they have to offer, however, this took a turn recently that will impact not only my organization's efficiency and multi-tasking, but this will most definitely impact others across the globe - of course, I'm speaking of the Split Screen View.

I use their Split screen viewability so I can monitor several channels and threads at a time considering the amount of work, employees, and activity taking place in the software, but they did away with it to roll out an "open in new window" feature.  The new window feature could help some but does not offer the same visibility.  

Whether you have 1 screen with a laptop or multiple screens, that might not be the fix we are looking for.  I work off of 2 monitors which are laid out in a specific way where I could not add another screen to split anything else with what I have so now I'm feeling hindered by lack of visibility without the split screen.

BRING IT BACK OR AT LEAST OFFER BOTH!  Don't let people's businesses be impacted by this change, at least offer the option!
