Layer/reason 01 - Shrek made me feel accepted. I related to Shrek and the other characters in ways I have never related to traditional fairytales. I will never forget 10th grade when I studied Shrek in English class and fell in love with the whole universe. The characters break down so many stereotypes and the pop culture references are both comedic and groundbreaking. If you love Shrek, this is the petition for you. Still not convinced?
