Bring Back Shredded Lettuce at Guzman y Gomez!

Recently, GYG replaced shredded lettuce with Cos lettuce in many of their menu items — including nachos and burrito bowls — to align with their new Caesar range. While we understand the excitement around new menu options, this change has made classic favourites less enjoyable and harder to eat.

Cos lettuce simply doesn’t work well with nachos or bowls — it’s too firm, chunky, and doesn’t blend the same way shredded lettuce does. The shredded lettuce added freshness, balance, and texture that complemented the GYG flavour we all love.

Many loyal customers have noticed the difference and miss the quality that shredded lettuce brought to their meals. We appreciate GYG’s innovation, but we believe customers should have a choice between Cos lettuce and shredded lettuce.

We’re asking Guzman y Gomez to:

Bring back shredded lettuce as an option for bowls, burritos, and nachos.
Continue offering Cos lettuce for the Caesar range — but don’t remove what already worked!

GYG has built its reputation on fresh, authentic ingredients and listening to its fans. Please show that commitment again by bringing back shredded lettuce as an option for everyone.
