We are having a massive problem in the world today. Trying to find enjoyment over small things has been limited. I stand before you today to bring back an attire that made every human being satisfied when watching basketball. Back in the 80s, all basketball players wore short shorts. The ratings when Larry Bird and Magic Johnson played were some of the highest the NBA has ever seen; it was more popular than any NFL game, as well as any other major league sports, during the time.

By bringing back short shorts as the official attire in the NBA, players will be able to perform their actions on the court easier because they have less restriction on their legs, allowing them to move more freely. In addition, since they have less clothing on, they will not be as overheated. This will increase the minutes each player will be on the court, allowing fans to see more action of their favorite players, as well as possibly increasing the stats of each individual player. Most people to watch sports now do you fantasy basketball. The more stats, their players get, the more points they get, resulting in winning bets(whether it is for actual money or if it’s just for family pride).
