If you are like us, you often think of a time when Doritos came in “Salsa.” This is not to be confused with the “Salsa Verde” in the green bag. Gross! No, we are speaking of Doritos Salsa in the black bag which, unfortunately, was discontinued over a decade ago. If you feel this business move did not make sense, you are not alone! Obviously from a business standpoint, it did at that time. However, trends in the last several years have shown people like spicier foods nowadays, from spicy Heinz 57 to spicy Lays potato chips. There’s even a spicy Mountain Dew! We feel bringing back Doritos Salsa would be both profitable for the company and beneficial to us, as we are slightly obsessed with the chips.
