Rowan University is one of the biggest greek life schools in America. Ranking #103 in best greek life schools posted Niche. This has been a huge contributing factor to why people have attended Rowan University.

This past year Rowan University’s greek life has been facing very unfair treatment by Glassboro Police Department, Glassboro Fire Department, and even by the Dean of the university. 

College students in greek life who are engaging in social activities trying to make it fun for other students are being swarmed by police and getting fined thousands of dollars for having college events. Students have been facing expulsion, their housing lease being terminated, and felony charges for throwing parties.

Rowan University thinks that this will grow their University but in the long run will actually destroy it because no one will come to this school anymore. The abuse from the police and our college having no college bars has left every student on this campus bored on the weekends. This causing students to roam the streets and major fights to break out. Instead of Rowan fighting against greek life they should help the fraternity’s which they have never done. 

STOP THE ABUSE FROM THE POLICE, FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND THE DEAN against broke college students trying to have fun.
