In Centreville, Maryland, band class in Centreville Middle School was shortened due to the Board of Education. They didn't fund a lot of money to the schools, causing schools to have to shorten classes and/or get rid of teachers. With band classes shortened, there is only one class of band PER GRADE LEVEL. So there will be about 40 students in each band class AT ONCE. It will be very crowded, and the kids will not learn as much as a regular class.
