The Rainforest Cafe in West Hartford, CT closed in 2013. With the soon closure of Forever 21 in the Westfarms mall, the people of Connecticut are eager for Rainforest Cafe’s comeback. Without the rainforest cafe, mall goers are unsure where to eat, and do not have the same fun environment to enjoy anymore.

The restaurant provided the mall with more life, as it welcomed children and adults alike, and made up for the mall’s lack of restaurants, as it does not have a food court.  The Rainforest Cafe would be a good place to sit down and have fun after stressful shopping, and allows children to be distracted by the restaurant’s attractions for some adult stress relief. Teens will also benefit from this, as more teens seem to skip lunch altogether if they see it as a “waste of money”. The Rainforest Cafe would help with this, and give everyone a safe haven to enjoy.
