To NBCUniversal and Peacock:

For nearly two decades, Psych has been more than a TV show — it's a community. Shawn Spencer and Burton "Gus" Guster, the pineapples, the endless nicknames, the "I've heard it both ways" — this is comfort television that fans return to again and again. We, the undersigned, are asking Peacock and NBCUniversal to give this fanbase what it deserves.

Peacock holds the keys. All eight seasons of Psych and the three revival films (Psych: The Movie, Psych 2: Lassie Come Home, and Psych 3: This Is Gus) live on Peacock, the NBCUniversal streaming service that ordered every film after the first. That makes Peacock the single company with the power to bring Shawn and Gus back — and the one we're calling on to act.

A fourth movie was promised, planned, and never made. This isn't wishful thinking. Star and co-writer James Roday Rodriguez has confirmed repeatedly that a Psych 4 script is finished. A fourth film was lined up to shoot back in 2022–2023, an announcement was nearly made, and then it collapsed over scheduling conflicts and the industry strikes. The cast wants to come back. Series creator Steve Franks wants to make it. As Roday Rodriguez put it, the creative team has been ready — it just "takes two to tango," and the decision now sits entirely with Peacock. Psych 3 ended on a cliffhanger, with Selene's villainous ex still at large and a new baby in the picture. Leaving the story there is not an ending. It's an abandonment.

Peacock has quietly signaled it's stepping back. Even as fans keep the franchise alive in the cultural conversation, the streamer stripped the show's social media icons from its streaming pages and marketed a "complete" Psych boxed set — language that reads like a company closing the book on a property its own audience refuses to let go of. That's not how you treat a fanbase this loyal.

The fans have already spoken. A recent post in the r/Psych community rallied thousands of viewers all saying the same thing: we want Psych back, and we want it aired and promoted again. That energy hasn't faded — it's grown. This petition is that voice, gathered in one place.

What we're asking for:

Renew active promotion of Psych on Peacock — restore its visibility, its social media presence, and treat it as the flagship comfort classic it is, not a catalog afterthought.
Green-light Psych 4. The script is done. The cast is willing. The creative team is ready. All that's missing is Peacock's yes.
Give this story the proper ending it earned after eight seasons, three films, and nearly twenty years of devoted fans.
Shawn and Gus solved every case they were handed. Now it's Peacock's turn to solve this one.
