Bring Back Pies On Deck! Our Neshamas (and Stomachs) Are Starving!

Bring Back Pies On Deck! Our Neshamas (and Stomachs) Are Starving!
The Issue
To all true pizza lovers, crust fanatics, and sauce talmidei chachamim:
Pies On Deck wasn’t just a pizza store — it was a makom kadosh for the hungry soul. Since their tragic closure, we’ve been in a deep galus, sustained only by frozen pies and weak dough that can barely be called mezonos. We’re in pain. We’re in exile. We are in… pizza gehinnom.
Imagine your Rebbi pulling you aside and saying, “You must learn this Sefer. It will change your life.” That’s what Pies On Deck was like — but instead of Torah, it was sauce. Instead of a chiddush, it was crust. It was ruchniyus… with a crunch. And now? we’re mamish in Galus.
This was the pizza that powered our chavrusas, lifted our Melaveh Malkahs, and got us through struggling times. This was the pie that turned Thursday night into a sacred minhag. And now? Now we sit on overturned chairs eating cold store-brand slices, mumbling “zechor yemos olam…”
We, the undersigned, are crying out: Please reopen! For the tzibbur! For the taste! For the talmidim! For the boys! Our community needs you like a yeshiva needs cholent on Thursday night — it’s just tradition, no questions asked.
Let the ovens burn l’shem Shamayim. Let there be Pies On Deck once again, b’karov mamash.
Be mishtatef in this mitzvah — reach out and help bring back the kedushah:
