The safety of our children is imperative as we all agree. In our school and temple a pivotal figure in our children's daily safety, Patrick, the security guard, has been removed from his position. This change has left many, including myself, deeply concerned about the security of our beloved young ones.

Patrick joined the security team to protect us and our children shortly after October 7th. At a time when it was dangerous to be a Jew and especially a Jewish school, he came to serve our community. He has extensive experience including serving in the United States Marine Corps. 

The complaint of one should not endanger the safety of all - more than one family should be considered in this situation.

It is time to protect the person that has been protecting our children.
