It is now 17 months ago, since the famous Llanelli town community seating area  was removed 😢 

Taking with it the last bit of the heart and soul of Llanelli 

Those  benches were commissioned for Llanelli and designed  in a way to show the history of the steel works in Llanelli's past.

They are also  classified as a work of street furniture art.

We were informed they would be replaced with new benches this has not happened and looks like there is no future plans to replace or bring the old ones back 

We would like our community benches back and possibly refurbished to  be more comfortable 

At the moment there is new floor lighting  in this area that is totally unnecessary as this area has 8 spotlights shining there  already 

We still have had no reason for them being removed 

Just a few excuses  

That the druggies were using them and litter was gathering under them 

Now the druggies have just moved 100 yards away and are sitting on those benches 

The rubbish was very little and could be cleaned out 2 or 3 times a week 

We would like photographic evidence that the benches are still here in the Llanelli area and being well cared for
