In the UK we have a right to remain private. This means we have the right for people to not know who we are. There are lots of sections in the Legislation that allows us to remain private by allowing us to not have to give details to the police when stopped. However now the police no longer do on the spot stop and search slips. this means that you now get given a reference number and they refuse to give you your search record unless you give your details.

Please sign my petition so it can be reviewed in Parliament and hopefully they bring back stop and search slips, and we can have our rights to privacy back.
