Bring Back Nickelodeon Universe: Revive the Magic at Paramount Parks

The Issue

We, the undersigned, call on Paramount to bring back the beloved Nickelodeon Universe to the theme parks once operated under the Paramount Parks banner. For many of us, Nickelodeon Universe was more than just a collection of rides; it was a magical place where our favorite characters came to life, creating unforgettable memories with family and friends.

When Cedar Fair acquired Paramount Parks in 2006, they gradually replaced the vibrant Nickelodeon-themed areas with "Planet Snoopy," completing the transition by 2010. While we appreciate the timeless charm of the Peanuts characters, there’s a unique nostalgia and joy that Nickelodeon brought to these parks—one that resonated with a generation of kids who grew up watching shows like SpongeBob SquarePants, Rugrats, and Dora the Explorer.

We believe that there’s still a place for Nickelodeon Universe in these parks, and we urge Paramount to consider reacquiring the rights to these beloved characters and restoring the Nickelodeon-themed areas. By doing so, Paramount could rekindle the magic for a new generation of fans, while also honoring the memories of those who grew up with these iconic characters.

Let’s bring back the magic of Nickelodeon Universe and give families the chance to create new memories with the characters that have brought joy to so many lives.
