After more then ten years of service it came as a great shock to us when we were told that our brilliant headmaster Nick Seward was leaving Kingham Hill. A small minority of people thought that it would be a good thing that the “Christian man who forced his own morals on us” was gone. We believe the opposite. Everything Nick Seward stood for made the school a better place and the school is much sadder without him. The amount he had done for both the school and the students within the school was above and beyond. He was always kind and fair to everyone. He believed the best in everyone and wanted to give everyone a chance. We think he was the best role model for us.One story that comes to mind is from a student of Kingham.; After not being able to receive the financial help she previously could, Nick helped this particular student and her family find bursaries to provide money for her, to reduce their school fees to a minimum. This is one of many great examples of what Nick has done for this school and why he should be restored as the Kingham Hill School headmaster.
