Little Big Planet. First released in 2008 in the playstation store. When the creators of Little Big Planet, Media Molecule, released this game it was a very risky move due to it being a 3D game which was basically a throne to the Mario games during that time. Little do you know, the game became one of playstation's most successful hits. With the game including fun gameplay, beautiful scenarios, lovely music, and a good story, it became a game we now realize was way ahead of its time. So what went so wrong? Why is Little Big Planet 1 and 2 not in the playstation 4 & 5 stores? 

 On the release of Little Big Planet 1 in 2008, it obviously became a huge hit. Three years later in 2011, Little Big Planet 2 was released. With Little Big Planet 1 already being such a great game, you would think how could the sequel be any better? There was no way Little Big Planet 2 would beat part 1, but it did. With Little Big Planet 2 introducing new tools for players to create their world and a whole new interactive story line, the franchise once again made a successful game. With the greater success of Little Big Planet two, so many players in the community were so anticipated for Little Big Planet 3! That was until its release. Media Molecule was no longer the developer for Little Big Planet 3, instead it was Sumo Digital. Although Little Big Planet 3 gave us new tools and even new unique gameplay with new characters, it was still... well… a flop. There were a lot of corruptions with the game and it was almost unplayable for some players especially when it was time to defeat the final boss. With the games sharing a server that basically allowed players to cross play, it also came with trollers and hackers. Exploits and cheats were also starting to happen and hackers were rumored to have hacked inside the system. It made Little Big Planet 3 a let down to a lot of players especially when the issue was so severe that online servers went down. This caused a lot of players of the community to stop playing or even leave Little Big Planet completely. When the online mode came back it was a great relief but with it came a big price. Little Big Planet 1 and 2 would stay offline forever. As of recently Little Big Planet 1 is only playable/buyable on the Playstation 3, but Little Big Planet 2 is completely missing. 

 You could read anyones input on the Little Big Planet 1 and 2 games and you would read nothing but how greatly it impacted everyone's childhood and all the great memories people shared with the game. It brought friends and family together and even inspired people with their own future. I myself have had amazing memories with this franchise and it brought so much light and joy in my childhood. Those versions of the franchise were so spontaneous that it’s a great disappointment for it to not be playable to all players today. It is a huge let down to not be able to go back and revisit those memories and experience the nostalgia. Little Big Planet has taught me to never give up, to keep going and you will eventually succeed. So I am not going to give up on this game. There has to be a way to bring the game back to life and available for everyone to play. There has to be a way to fix and better protect this precious gem. We can’t give up. Little Big Planet 1 & 2 need us as much as we needed them. Please sign this petition to bring back this game and give it life again. Anything is possible,  there is a whole world waiting for us.
