Kellogg's has recently discontinued one of my favourite snacks without any notice whatsoever to their customers. Last week, I stopped by my local Walmart to stock up on the Rice Krispies Squares Birthday Cake Flavour Bars, where I was surprised to find out that they were sold out. I went to talk to the manager to ask when they were getting the next shipment who then told me that the product was no longer being sold and was being discontinued by Kellogg's. I was shocked, felt betrayed and disappointed. As someone who suffers from anxiety and depression, this product was one of the few items in my life which brought me joy, which is why I care so much that it's gone for good. It is extremely unfair for Kellogg's to do this.

As disappointed as I was that my favourite snack product was gone, I decided to contact Kellogg's Canada directly via email. The response I got back was:

"Thank you for contacting us about Kellogg's* Rice Krispies Squares* Birthday Cake. We're sorry one of your favourite items has been discontinued because there was not enough consumer interest in this product. I am happy you liked it as much as you did, and I've shared your desire for it to return with our Sales team."

The next part of the email response goes on to say that they are going to mail me a coupon so I can try their other products. Now if I am being honest, I don't really care about that. I just want my favourite product back. I really don't think they will do anything to bring back the snack unless more consumer interest is made, which is why I am starting this petition.

Please help me bring back one of the best snacks Kellogg's has made and help me prove them wrong, that customer's still love it as much as I do. Bringing back the Kellogg's Rice Krispies Squares Birthday Cake would bring joy to not only me but I am sure many customer's who love it as well, as well as customer's who missed out on it and are still yet to give it a try. I would be forever thankful if this petition gains enough signatures and they bring the snack back to the market, if not, atleast I will know that I tried.
