As consumers and fans, we grew up eating Jolly Rancher Bites, a candy that has been an integral part of our Shabbos parties. The halting of this product's production puts an end to a tradition and many good times that we associate with it. 

Jolly Rancher Bites were not merely a candy to us; they occupied a special place in our lives, marking many memorable moments and celebrations. However, their departure from the marketplace has left a void in our cultural practices, impacting countless lives. Removing the candy from the market strips us of a meaningful link to our childhoods and traditions.

In America, there are approximately 5.3 million adults who buy kosher food all the time, for religious and many other reasons according to the Quartz business news (2014). By taking away a product that was a part of our tradition and appealing to this demographic, Hershey's, the maker of Jolly Ranchers, isn't just stripping us of our memories, but also failing to cater to a company's loyal customer base as the rest of the Jolly Rancher product line is not kosher.

We urge Hershey's to recognize the emotional connection we have with the kosher product and the broader impact on its customer base who are regular kosher customers.
