Bring back intros, walkouts and line-ups in EA FC 24 Next Gen!
The Issue
With the advent of the new EAFC 24, PS5 and Series X (Next Gen) players had to discover an unfortunate surprise when the game was acquired: the match intros (exit from the tunnel, anthem, formations, and preparations for the start of the match) have been eliminated and replaced by pre-packaged videos (there will be 4-5 different ones maximum) that do anything but replace the old intros. The game is thus exarcebted of an engaging part of each match affecting the gaming experience and involvement. You can see a perfect example of it in this EAFC 24 match.
This does not appear to be a bug as the new pre-match videos created for EA FC 24 on Next Gen consoles show only very few elements of the classic pre-match intros thus outlining a situation of a game design choice, an insane choice because it makes no sense to streamline the game on such an element, especially when one of the main selling points according to them was the Match Authentic Experience.
The addition of the pre-packaged videos (locker room, field warm-up, etc.) were all fantastic additions, especially since the competitor, eFootball, has a great pre-game with many such scenes that fifa lacks. Adding the new scenes to the already classic pregame that you had in Fifa 23 would have been perfect, but EA decided for no reason and without explaining why to remove an important part of the main experience of the game, the match.
This change WAS NOT ANNOUNCED and was discovered ONLY AT THE PURCHASE OF THE GAME by so many fans who spent even hundreds of euros to purchase the game without being warned of a very important change: in light of EA's promises to give away an AUTHENTIC MATCH EXPERIENCE IN EA FC 24 (one of the selling points of the various trailers of the game) this is truly misleading.
EA FC 24 players are clamoring for the restoration of the field entry and line up scenes before matches to make EA keep its promises of an Authentic Match Experience.
