Kaddu, or pumpkin, has always been my favourite vegetable. It's a versatile ingredient that brings comfort and nourishment to countless households, including mine. However, recent changes have made it difficult for me and many others to enjoy this beloved vegetable as frequently as we would like.

The introduction of the new pricing policy, known as the Harsh Kumar Slab, provided a fair and balanced approach, making vegetables, including pumpkins, more affordable for everyone. This slab ensured fair pricing for both consumers and farmers, promoting local produce and strengthening the market. Since its removal, we've seen prices soar, placing an unfair burden on families, many of whom are now unable to access fresh, nutritious vegetables.

It's not just about affordability; it's about supporting our local farmers who work tirelessly to provide us with the best produce. The absence of the Harsh Kumar Slab has disrupted a system that was beneficial for both consumers and the agriculture sector, causing significant economic imbalance.

To address this issue, we propose the reinstatement of the Harsh Kumar Slab. This will not only stabilize the prices but also encourage more people to consume locally-grown produce.
