Growing up, the Hendersonville Performing Arts Centre (HPAC) was more than just a venue for me and many others; it was our home, our sanctuary, our escape. When life got overwhelming or stressful, stepping onto that stage and getting lost in the world of theater was the relief we needed. These Enrichment musicals were not just performances; they were experiences that bonded us, challenged us, and enriched our lives in ways words can barely capture.

For middle and high school thespians, the Enrichment musicals provided a unique platform to express creativity, develop skills, and forge lasting friendships. These productions not only allowed us to showcase our talents but also taught us discipline, teamwork, and the immense value of hard work. They offered an inclusive space for students from diverse backgrounds to unite over a shared passion, often serving as a crucial safe space for those who felt out of place elsewhere.
