As a student at Montclair State University, I have always appreciated the buzz of activity and social interaction that took place at the Dunkin' on campus. It wasn't just a place to grab a coffee or a donut; it was a vibrant hub where students like myself could recharge, connect with friends, or even just grab a much-needed caffeine boost between classes. Its removal has left a noticeable void in our daily routines, impacting not only convenience but also our sense of community.

The demand for Dunkin' was evident in the constant stream of students and faculty utilizing its services. The foot traffic was significant, proving how integral Dunkin' was to our campus life. With tuition fees on the rise and the construction of buildings that seem less essential to our immediate needs, it feels unjustifiable to eliminate such a crucial student resource. Many of my friends, colleagues, and I share a sense of frustration and discontent with this decision.

Bringing Dunkin' back could serve as a tangible enhancement to student life, providing both the energy boost essential for academic success and a social space for engagements and meetings. The simple pleasure of a morning coffee run or a midday snack at a familiar place shouldn't be underestimated in its ability to positively influence student morale and experience.

We urge the administration to consider our perspectives and work towards reinstating Dunkin' on campus. Rather than continuing along a path of impractical expansions, focus on the small, everyday conveniences that truly enhance our university environment. Let’s bring back Dunkin' to foster the lively, supportive community that Montclair State University's students are yearning for.
