Bring Back Coach LaPrad
The Issue
Hello everyone,
On Wednesday, January 18th, 2023, breaking news struck that, Coach Steve LaPrad, has resigned. We will not disclose on the details. This was a shock to everyone because Steve LaPrad, may not be perfect, but he was a man who gave his entire life to a school, an athletic program, and to students for 45 years. To some he may just be a regular Coach, to the Lowcountry, he is THE GOAT;to the District, he was the athletic director and Head football coach of Fort Dorchester, who took his team to multiple state championships, win or lose and has had multiple of his former players come back to give equipment and host a various of athletic camps; to football players from different areas, he is their dream coach; to other football coaches, he is a friend, father figure, and role model; to all past, present and future Patriots, he was our everything! Between LaPrad and his family, they have gave more than any family, has ever given to any school! We hope that the district will reconsider their decision and allow Coach LaPrad to continue what he has been doing for 45 YEARS!
