After Disney shut down Club Penguin, an interactive online game played by millions, people were devastated and grieved over the loss of hundreds of hours of gameplay and progress.

After the announcement of the imminent closure of Club Penguin, Club Penguin Rewritten was founded to preserve and bring life back to the game that was a part of many childhoods. It also removed pay to play features and is a completely free version of the original game. Club Penguin Rewritten quickly grew in popularity, gaining up to 10 million registered accounts. 

However, recently Disney has copyright struck Club Penguin Rewritten and the site is now closed and under investigation. Disney has not made any plans of bringing the original Club Penguin back, which makes the strike even more ludicrous.
