Think back, if you will to a Saturday morning when you were a child. Waking up later than usual and there’s fresh pancakes, or waffles if you swing that way, on the table. The aroma was intoxicating to your sweet innocent mind. You sit down with your stack of those doughy cakes from heaven, maybe turn on your favorite Saturday morning show. Then you reach for her, Aunt Jemima. The morning is already great, but Aunt Jemima and her big beautiful smile are there to make it better. She doesn’t care what your race, ethnicity, religion, gender, etc… is. All she cares about is brightening your day with that big smile and giving you the delicious syrup she’s brought to you to help make those flapjacks into angle food. Remember that? Well, kids nowadays will never get to have such memories now they will wake up to cold pancakes and boring syrup from some boring place called pearl milling company. This must not be allowed to persist. Bring that beautiful lady back. Let her be immortalized in the hearts of millions of children and adults everywhere.
