Artie is a character from the Shrek franchise who appeared in "Shrek the Third." He is apparently based on King Arthur from the legend of the same name. He's one of my favorite characters from the third movie! I, like many, have a tremendous love and respect for the character from the unforgettable Shrek franchise. This lively, humorous, and endearing character brought added depth to the already vibrant world of "Shrek the Third."

Unfortunately, much to my disappointment and of countless other fans, Artie was absent in "Shrek Forever After." I heard he was planned to make a comeback in the fourth movie but he ended up getting written out of the sequel. Artie was not only funny but also an embodiment of resilience and bravado; his story has the potential to inspire many more if further explored. His absence from the sequel was felt by many fans including myself!

However, there might be hope for the beloved character. DreamWorks recently announced Shrek 5 scheduled for release in 2027! This is a fantastic opportunity to bring back our beloved character, delve deeper into his story, and reveal what became of him after "Shrek the Third!" His dynamics can add a fresh perspective to the franchise, keeping the audience engaged and excited. However, I'm not totally sure if they will bring him back in Shrek 5. If he ends up being absent again, then maybe in any other possible upcoming Shrek or Shrek related projects like maybe his own spin-off movie possibly! He definitely deserves something like that just like Puss in Boots! His character has the charm and depth needed to carry a standalone movie. This call is not only for the reinstatement of a beloved character, but it is also for the continued success of the franchise that we have grown to love and cherish. 

DreamWorks, listen to the voices of your dedicated fans. Bring back Artie! Let his wit, humor, and spirit charm us once again in either Shrek 5 or in any possible upcoming Shrek or Shrek related projects after it! Consider this a plea from millions of fans worldwide!!
