Grand Theft Auto Online has been a staple for countless players around the globe. As an ardent fan myself, the game has been a space where I've spent hours upon hours enjoying thrilling heists and missions. Unfortunately, due to my friends moving on from the game, I prefer to play solo. I'm not alone in this; a substantial number of players also enjoy the game through invite-only sessions, valuing the freedom and individual challenge it offers without the hustle of public lobbies.

Over the years, GTA Online has undergone numerous changes, but one of the most significant frustrations has been the reduction in heist payouts since 2020. The adjustment feels like a penalty for solo players, and we're now being pushed to complete a variety of heists and missions just to earn enough money to maintain a standard level of gameplay. The costs of businesses and properties like the new mansion, which is necessary for new content like the latest heist, are exorbitant, with prices reaching up to 15 million dollars. For many players, such high costs often translate to excessive grind sessions, diminishing the fun and spontaneity that attracted us to the game initially.

Reintroducing the 2020 payouts would help restore balance and accessibility for solo players and all those in invite-only servers. It would also encourage more players to partake in various activities within the game world without feeling the undue pressure to constantly grind or resort to microtransactions just to keep up.

It might take a while, but Rockstar Games does listen to their community, and I believe that by rolling back to the 2020 payout structure, they can once again reflect this commitment. Let’s rally together to convince Rockstar to take this step and revive the enjoyment for their loyal fan base.
