Our town recently lost a Sav A Lot, leaving us with only Kroger or Walmart as our grocery options. This has hit our community hard as we are left without a low priced, high quality grocery option. We need an Aldi store in Martinsville, Indiana.

Aldi is known for its commitment to providing affordable groceries without compromising on quality. According to the USDA Economic Research Service (ERS), food prices rose by 3.5% in 2020 and are expected to increase further this year. In these challenging times, having access to affordable groceries is more important than ever.

The opening of an Aldi store would not only provide residents of Martinsville with more choices but also stimulate local economic growth by creating jobs and attracting consumers from neighboring towns.

We urge the decision makers at Aldi and local government officials in Morgan County to consider our plea seriously and take action for the benefit of all residents.
