On April Fool’s Day I posted a fake story about Allagash Brewing coming to Hendersonville, NC to build a brewery and taproom. It was merely a joke but it was written in press release style with quotes and a photo and evidently it fooled a ton of people. While I have announced that it was a joke, the fake press release actually made it to the founder of Allagash Rob Tod. Evidently he was amused. In any case, the joke/fake story disappointed a bunch of people so I got to thinking, maybe if Rob Tod actually saw what Hendersonville and Henderson County has to offer, perhaps he would consider doing something down here in the mountains of Western North Carolina. If you’d like to see Rob take a trip down here and potentially open an “Allagash South” location, then please sign the petition. Cheers!
