Recently, however, our beloved city faced a significant blow when we lost our basketball team, the Mad Ants, leaving a noticeable gap in our local sports scene. This loss not only affected the fans but also diminished the sense of pride and community connected to our local sports culture.

However, not all hope is lost. Fort Wayne has just debuted a brand new stadium built for the Fort Wayne FC (FWFC) soccer club, illustrating our city’s continued commitment to fostering athletic excellence and community involvement. This state-of-the-art facility offers a unique opportunity to expand our city's athletic infrastructure by becoming a home for a United Football League (UFL) team, thus propelling Fort Wayne into a larger sports spotlight.

Football is deeply rooted in American culture and has a massive fan base that spans across diverse demographic and socio-economic groups.
