It was recently noticed that Piggly Wiggly located on 6501 1st Ave N, Birmingham, AL 35206 does not have a deli. Members of the Woodlawn community sees this area as a food desert and would like to have a variety of meal options. It was also discovered that other Piggly Wigglys that are located in mainly white communities have a deli while locations in mainly black neighborhoods do not. Corporate has been notified of this concern. 

By signing this petition, you agree that there should be a deli in Piggly Wiggly on 1st Ave North. If successful, it's a start to incorporate delis in other locations.
