The residents of Ocala Florida have been wishing for a Costco location to open in the city. All of us who reside in the Northeast side of the city have to travel to the Southwest side of Ocala to the only Sam's Club in the city. There have been rumors of a Costco opening in Ocala with anticipation ... however no Costco has come to Ocala.

This petition is a request by the residents of Ocala for Costco to consider opening a store in Ocala ... preferably in the Northeast side of the city. A potential site is a commercial zoned plot on the Northwest corner of NE 36th Ave and NE 35th St.

While some of us may have a Sam's Club membership, we prefer a Costco instead and one that's closer to the residents in the Northeast side of the city.
