After many conversations with the administrative side of the dining services on this campus, it would be in the best interest of the student population that are residents, should be able to opt out of the meal plan.

Although living on campus is a great way to be connected to the rest of the BSU community, it makes no sense to pay for a meal plan that won't go out of their way to have effective ways to avoid cross contamination and won't take accountability for it. November 9th, I spoke to Staci DeSimone, the general manager of the dining services. She said "If you have combative behavior, then nothing will change".

Asking to care for the well being of the people that eat at BSU isn't combative, its being human. She talked about how important business is important to her and what seemed to be making the most money. Your health will not meaning anything to her unless you can sign this petition and show her that you are a member of the BSU community and you are someone that matters and has a voice.
