Justice for Eric Keais who was killed in hit and run homicide and cover up in Cedartown Ga

The Issue

Eric Keais was killed 13 months ago and was ruled homicide by coroner and no one has been arrested since the incident on September 11,2019. Involves the driver, Ralph Dover III, Georgia State Representative Trey Kelley, Cedartown Police Chief Jamie Newsome, Trey's boss at law firm William Lundy that are known. No one of these four contacted 911 as Eric lay down of shoulder of roadway for well over an hour.

In my opinion the driver, Ralph Dover should have been arrested on scene for leaving the scene and calling and meeting Trey Kelley instead of 911. Claimed it was a deer. Also, Trey lied and said he only knew Dover as a citizen of Polk County and as seeing him at the fair.

Also, my opinion, Trey Kelley should at very least be made to step down for calling his boss William Lundy, wasting valuable time and also be charged in this homicide for not calling 911.

William Lundy is also a witness to the crime, spoke with Trey and his wife Amy and failed to call 911 and be charged as such.

Chief Newsome of all people should have called 911 instead of having his officer calling him at home to give him the information needed to go to scene whereby officer found Eric within 5 minutes. Newsome needs to be fired and investigated for mishandling a 911 incident and witness to a crime with non arrest made. In Newsomes radio dispatch to Sgt Turner, he was told it could be a person. So Dover and Kelley lied to reporters that they did not know it was anyone in danger.

Polk County coroner Tony Brazier listed his death as a homicide and stated that he believed Eric would have had a chance to live if he had not reached or went over "The Golden Hour" due to his injuries

Both Kelley and Newsome have been ask to resign without doing so to this day.
