Dear Nike:

Michael Vick said he "made a mistake" fighting dogs-a "mistake" that spanned many years who took pleasure in torturing pets representing a way of life.   Per the USDA report, Michael Vick admitted to even throwing in family pets into dog fighting rings "because it was funny".  Funny?? Listening to the screams of agony as innocent helpless living sentient creatures as they get eviscerated with limbs tore out of their sockets is funny? Only for a sick sadist. Keep in mind Vick was a multi-millionaire already, so the motivation was for pleasure-not for cash, thus in my opinion Vick is the sick sadist.

USDA REPORT: "The report, dated Aug. 28, 2008, says, "Vick, Peace and Phillips thought it was funny to watch the pit bull dogs belonging to Bad Newz Kennels injure or kill the other dogs (family pets)."..."According to the report, the three men hung the dogs "by placing a nylon cord over a 2 X 4 that was nailed to two trees located next to the big shed. They also drowned approximately three dogs by putting the dogs' heads in a five gallon bucket of water.".."Vick admitted taking part in the actual hanging of the dogs."

Since you decided to supply products of Vick, or even just supplying products TO Vick-the dog killer and animal torturer of many years,   I am boycotting Nike.  Further,  word is rapidly spreading to BOYCOTT NIKE:  DO NOT BUY ANYTHING OF NIKE because it stinks with the blood of dogs, reeks of their suffering and agony.

THOUGH NIKE DENIES VICK WILL ENDORSE THEIR PRODUCTS-HE WILL STILL BE WEARING NIKE SHOES & PRODUCTS - WHICH IS AN ENDORSEMENT-PEOPLE WILL SEE WHAT HE'S WEARING.

Michael Vick lied to the Court system when first charged with dog fighting stating he was innocent-without batting an eyelash-until his friends turned him in for plea deals, thereby demonstrating Vick is capable of lying. IF he can lie to Court, what makes you think he's being honest now about being remorseful???

Keep in mind America is cheering a dog fighter. Vick is strutting his stuff on the field. It is a clear message to young people if you engage in dog fighting, you will be turn out rich and do well. Actually, they are right: Vick is rolling in millions once again with adoring cheering fans. And the prestige of NIKE carrying Vick items-all encourages Americans to become dog fighting as it is synonymous with the NFL and glamorous sports. With the economy the way it is, all the more lures people wanting to do the VICK-that is, fight dogs! Many dog fighters make $50,000+ per dog fight, as said rings often distribute illegal narcotics and firearms which are used in armed robberies and home invasions-i.e., the spread of VICE and VIOLENCE in America. Dog fighting is a major source of income for gangs and violent criminals. Dog fighters also bring their children to watch this blood sport so they grow up thinking it is normal to torture animals and kill animals; FBI profiling proved this is a common pattern of young people torturing and killing animals leads to violent criminals and serial killers-perpetuating more and more violence in America. 

"One of the most dangerous things that can happen to a child is to kill or torture an animal and get away with it," Margaret Meade, Anthorpologist.

More and more young people are going on Craigslist and getting "free to good home" pit bulls and pit bull mixes and starting their own dog fighting enterprises, you know, doing the VICK.  Daily I see news reports of dog fighting busts-that is because it is on the rise-done more commonly, as a means of fast income.
