If you have been to Crossgates and Colonie Center as of the last few years, you maybe familiar with the name "QLZ". This place is a gift shop that advertises mainly to kids and teens. They sell everything from Hello Kitty, to their own brand of jackets, and even gag gifts like potato chip clips. If you see a kid kicking and screaming because they wanted a "Rainbow Friends" plushie, this is probably where they found it. 

This place is highly controversial in many ways than one. The most obvious one is them selling Shein and Temu products and marketing them up by 200% the amount minimum. The $169.99 Gengar plushie is the same exact one they sell at Otaku House for $95 (I also do not support this place, but just to make a comparison). Other things such as slippers, clothes and even stationary are all bought from sites similar to Temu for the cost of pennies. The other biggest concern is their treatment of employees. From firing the Human Resources manager for "being sick too much", to having their kids use work equipment while sick, to soft firing majority of their staff for no discernable reason, to having an employee handle the job of 5 people just to then punish her for not handling it well and to creating a work environment be a walking talking OSHA violation. This workplace has been brought to the Department of Labor and OSHA, to little being done about the mistreatment and hazards.

Although they are shutting down 2 of their 3 locations, enough is enough with the mistreatment. We would like to boycott the business to assure that this is fully ended and that there is little to no support for the owners of QLZ.
