Israel has systematically oppressed and brutalized the Palestinian people for decades. Since October 2023, its assault on Gaza has escalated to levels widely described as genocidal. Over 30 children are killed every single day, entire families are wiped out, and Israel deliberately blocks food, baby formula, water, medicine, and fuel in what UN experts have called a campaign of mass starvation.

Israel uses sports to whitewash its crimes – to project an image of normalcy, dignity, and inclusion. But there is nothing normal about a genocide. There is nothing dignified about bombing refugee camps and hospitals or targeting journalists and medics.

Israel falsely invokes Judaism to justify these atrocities. This is not only a distortion of Jewish values – it is antisemitic. Judaism is a peaceful religion rooted in justice and compassion. To equate genocide with Judaism is to spread a dangerous lie. No religion sanctions mass killing.

We, the undersigned, call on World Lacrosse and its member nations to:

• Ban Israel from all World Lacrosse events and tournaments,
• Refuse to compete against Israeli teams,
• Stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

To stay silent, or to continue playing with Israeli teams, is to normalize genocide. It is to look the other way as an entire people is dehumanized, starved, and slaughtered.

This is not politics. This is a moral line. As athletes and global citizens, we have a responsibility to act. Sport must not be used as a shield for atrocities.

Boycotts have worked before—against apartheid South Africa and in other cases of state violence. This is a global movement for justice, and the world of sports must not lag behind. World Lacrosse has the power to take a stand and send a message that genocide has consequences.

No more sportswashing. No more silence. Boycott Israel now.
