This game is the same disappointment you get when you ask your mom for McDonald's and she says we have food at the house; Like buying a car brand new but it doesn't have an engine, or a steering wheel. These devs should quit their jobs and become politicians. They'd be great at it! Promising so much in a campaign but once elected, they get none of it done their whole term. Built on lies. 

To be clear, no one is hating on this game just to throw a fit. They're hating on this game because it was 5 years in development, and feels like they just slapped something together with a NON OPEN WORLD pre made by someone, then changed it a little to be more original. They show a trailer with a vast open world and basic features that exist in every survival game but then when it comes out, we don't get any of it. “We're considering adding vaulting and melee in a future update” You mean basic survival things like jumping over things and punching stuff that's a natural instinct for most people which EVERY OTHER SURVIVAL GAME has at its core?

How about “Consider” taking this game off the steam market and refunding everyone who bought it. They shouldn't have to “consider” adding features that were shown in the LITERAL TRAILER. They say its not an extraction game but this is exactly what we got. Even if it was supposed to be an extraction shooter but with zombies, it would still be bad. Bugs galore, Can't even punch ffs, zombies if any are horribly programmed and so easy to kill its not worth your time, you can kill random players on the map whenever you see fit which would be okay if the game was open world but it's not, Barely any open buildings to scavenge for supplies, mostly empty world with nothing of worth to do, and many people are having trouble getting the game to run on high end PC's. This feels like one of those videos where someone threw together a sample to show off an engines graphics. 

The devs are deleting Discord feedback because they can't take the cold hard truth. They even changed the Steam description and removed all the videos showing open world elements. They spend all this time with the game even becoming one of Steam's most wishlisted game only to deliver a half assed game, that even if branded as non MMO open world, would still be horrible. Then they hide behind “Early Access” because then when people don't like what they served, the devs can say, “It's still being developed guys don't worry” Then they start to ban people on the Discord server that speak out against the game like that'll help. At least the devs behind Battlefield 2042 were able to admit they made a horrible game and did not deliver what was promised. Took only a day to become one of the worst reviewed games on Steam. Early Access for any game, I can get behind but leaving out CORE parts of the game like the OPEN FUCKING WORLD we were promised are features that shouldn't have been left out from the start. 

Early Access means refining features already in the game, making small changes and tweaks etc. In order to get this game to be what they had promised, they would need to re develop it from the ground up. We shouldn't have to put up with this kind of bullshit as gamers. Game devs big and small are manipulating and making horrible games because they know we'll still buy them anyway. They walk all over us and honestly I'm about to dust off my old PS2 and go to town. No more shenanigans. At least most of those games came out and were playable upon release. Also funny enough these devs won't even acknowledge the negative reviews and comments when those make up 96% of them. What a joke. Can you rename the game to the day before you went bankrupt please? The day before we all got a refund? No? How about the day before we got scammed?
