Esoteric festival is under threat of cancellation as Buloke council recommends denying planning permits for the festival 4 days before the event.

We need your help - Pledge to boycott Buloke shire and never spend a single dollar at any business in the shire if Esoteric festival is cancelled!

We need to send a clear message to Buloke councilors that denying permits for Esoteric will harm local businesses and hurt the local community.

Esoteric Festival has been successfully and safely running for eight years bringing together artists and festival goers from all over Australia and injecting $15 million into the local community. 

Councilors are stating "safety concerns" as the basis for denying permits. However after last year's outbreak of gastroenteritis festival organizers have put in place stringent measures, at great expense, and worked closely with officials and authorities to ensure the event is compliant and will run safely. Festival organizers have has also received written approval for the festival from police, EPA, firefighters, health, water and transport authorities. The council has no sound basis for denying permits.
