Boston Latin School has a responsibility to its faculty and students to continue to self-improve for the benefit of all. Therefore, it should openly receive the Boston Student Union's 2013-2014 School Climate Proposal- written by students, for students- and review it in order to respect the voice of the student body. It targets problem areas as identified by the 2012-2013 School Climate Survey such as communication between teachers and students, engagement of the students and student families in school decision-making, various aspects of the curriculum, cleanliness of school facilities, and school culture; it then identifies how each specific issue affects students, and offers reasonable solutions. By signing this petition, you are supporting the Boston Student Union's request and agree that the Proposal must be reviewed by the school administration.
